The history of SEKA Moving starts with the arrival of Serik Baimoldayev to the United States in 2012. Fresh off the plane, he had to get a job to support himself. Without an idea of how things work in this country, he turned his head to the moving industry and started working as a helper.
While working for several companies in Los Angeles and New York City, Serik saw a lot of room for improvement in how moving companies could operate. He tried communicating his ideas with management, but decision-makers were complacent with the status quo.
Hence, in 2017, Serik decided to start his own company where he would be the decision maker. Now, as the CEO, he has a chance to right the wrongs of the industry practices by tailoring the moving and storage services to each customer’s needs. That’s how SEKA Moving was born – Moving Company With a Personal Touch.
