Antiques & Fine Art
- Paintings – We use picture boxes and cardboard crates for better protection, ensuring your artwork remains in pristine condition;
- Small Art Sculptures – Securely packed in well-cushioned sturdy cardboard boxes.
Bedroom
- Armoires – Our experts will disassemble them and double-wrap individual components using furniture blankets;
- Lamps – Professionally packed in a lamp box lined with bubble wrap;
- Mattresses – We use mattress bags for best protection from dirt and damages;
- Standard-Sized Mirrors – Will be protected in well-padded cardboard boxes and marked “Fragile”;
- Wardrobe Clothes – Hung in a wardrobe box to prevent crumpling and to maintain the condition of unfoldable clothing.
Building Protection
- Floors – We bring floor protection on the move day to safeguard the condition of the flooring;
- Corners – We use corner guards to prevent scraping wall corners when carrying items to or out of your residences;
- Hallways – It is standard practice for us to lay out protection on hallways on the move day to prevent damage and facilitate safe movement in high-traffic areas;
- Doorways – Our expert crew will safely maneuver items to or from your buildings without scruffing the door frames.
Kitchen
- Chairs and Tables – disassembled if possible, and each piece wrapped with padded blankets and corner protection before wrapping everything with shrink wrap;
- Dishes, Kitchenware, and Glassware – packed using special packing paper and boxes into China boxes;
- Kitchen Cabinets – emptied, then wrapped in padded blankets first and then with shrink wrap;
- Large Appliances (fridge, dishwasher) – emptied, then wrapped in padded blankets and corner protection first and then with shrink wrap;
- Small Appliances (blender, crock pot, coffee maker) – boxed into medium boxes; gaps are filled with packing paper to immobilize the small appliance inside the box;
Living Room
- Couches & Chairs – We wrap your furniture in moving blankets and tape professionally to prevent damage. Corners will be used on couches to protect the wooden frames;
- Flat-Screen TVs – We will safely pack your TV in an ample-sized flatscreen TV moving box;
- Tables – Will be disassembled and wrapped in furniture blankets before stowing away. We will place the glass in cardboard crates and mark “Fragile”.
Office
- Computers – We use well-padded cardboard boxes and store computers flat in a spacious area;
- Electronics – We wrap electronics individually and use cardboard boxes for packing, each with its own cabling.

When Is the Best Time to Move?

The best time to move is when you need to move! SEKA Moving is here to provide you with moving services 7 days a week, right throughout the year.

Our busiest time traditionally, as for every moving company, is during the summer months, usually the period between May 15 and September 15. End months are also, understandably, a buzzing time, as are the holiday weeks.

While the date may have a bearing on the availability of trucks, loading crews, and overall moving costs, we will work to accommodate you to make your transition as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
When Should I Book My Move?

Our company works on a first-come-first-served basis. What this means is that the earlier you get in touch, the more likely we are to work on your preferred moving schedule.

We recommend making your reservation at least 4 weeks in advance. But if you are planning to move in the middle of the month on a weekday, 2 weeks in advance should suffice.
